Decatur Middle School

Marley Horton plays volleyball for Decatur Middle School.  She started when she was 10 years old and has been playing since. Her hero is her dad, she says that he helps her a lot by practicing with her everyday. Horton loves volleyball because it is a team sport and she gets to play with her friends. She says her personal achievement is that she gets a lot of aces. An ace is earned upon serving and the other team doesn't return the serve. While she does earn the team lots of points she struggles daily because she tends to roll her ankle.
