Decatur Middle School

Number 12 on the 8th grade DMS football team is Owen Murphree. This is his second year playing football. He loves playing football and loves being a part of the team. Owen finds it hard to get enough sleep before games. Murphree's parents motivate him to be better and to work hard to correct his mistakes.  His favorite food before a game is pasta. It makes him feel well rested and ready to play his best. His biggest accomplishment to this day is intercepting the ball during a game. Murphree would like to meet Austin Riley from the Atlanta Braves!
