SCHOLARS' BOWL TEAM COMPETES @WALLACE
Three of Decatur Middle School Scholars’ Bowl Teams participated in yesterday's (Feb. 12, 2022) East Lawrence Middle School's Spring Invitational held on the Wallace State Community College Campus.
During the preliminary rounds, the DMS A team went 5-0 (ranking 2nd out of 18). The DMS B team went 4-1 (ranking 5th of 18). The amount of growth these incredible students have made during this season is amazing. They have put in the work and it shows.
Decatur Middle School was proud to have some of our Decatur High Scholars Bowl team members to join them for today's tournament. Sam Hellebrand and Tait Stewart stood in as coaches for two of our teams while Mollye Hellebrand, and Claire Stewart acted as moderators during pool-play matches.
